PixElated Adventures Art Contest

Terms And Conditions

Submission of art for the purposes of the contest will be equal to your agreement to the below terms and conditions

 

  1. PARTICIPATION

 

  1. You can participate in this contest by submitting your art through the designated PixElated Adventure Art Competition Form

  2. The art:

    1. Must be your own creation

    2. Must be submitted within the specified contest dates and times (6PM BST 24th July 2024 – 6PM BST 31st July 2024)

    3. Must be appropriate to be viewed by all age groups. NSFW art will be automatically disqualified

    4. Must fit within the theme as set out by PixElated Adventures Festival organisers

    5. Must not be, nor contain any elements or parts created by AI

    6. Must not contain any logos or any promotional or marketing materials.

    7. Must have clearly visible pixels in the majority of your art piece

  3. Maximum 3 submissions per participant are allowed. If more than 3 are submitted, only the first 3 submissions will be considered as participating in this contest.

 

  1. WINNER SELECTION

 

  1. The top 10 art pieces will be decided via popular vote on the pixelatedfest.com website. The popular vote will take place between 6PM BST 31stth August 2024 – 6PM BST 1st August 2024.

    1. Any obvious signs of cheating while the vote is taking place will result in disqualification

    2. Only one art piece per creator may be selected for the top 10 prize. In case where more than one art piece is selected for the top 10 selection, the most popular one will be the one considered for the prize. The other/s will be discounted.

  2. The winner of the contest will be selected via developer popular vote.

  3. Only developers that are participating via exhibiting a game in the PixElated Adventures Festival 2024 AND members of the PixElated Festival Discord Server will be able to cast their votes

  4. The developer vote will take place between 6PM BST 1st August 2024 and 4PM BST 2nd August 2024

 

  1. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

 

  1. The winner announcement for this contest will begin on 2nd August 2024 at 6PM BST.

  2. The winners will be announced on Brave At Night website, twitter account, the PixElated Festival Discord Server and the PixElated Adventures Festival Steam page.

  3. The winners will be contacted via provided contact email.

  4. If the winner does not contact Brave At Night within 7 days of the winner announcement, they forfeit their right to the prize, and Brave At Night reserves the right to select and notify a new winner.

 

  1. PRIZES

 

  1. The top 10 art piece creators will receive a free access to Pixel Art Academy: Learn Mode in a form of a Steam game key. This reward will be accessible once Pixel Art Academy: Learn Mode is released on the Steam Platform.

  2. The winner will receive a $50 Digital Steam Giftcard

  3. The use of specific brands as prizes by Brave At Night does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement of such brands.

  4. The prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable, and no cash alternatives will be provided.

  5. We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control require doing so.

  6. Brave At Night's decision on any aspect of the competition is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into about it

 

  1. USE OF THE SUBMITTED ART

 

  1. All of the submitted artwork will be publicly visible on the PixElated Festival Discord Server

  2. The winning art will be displayed on the publicly accessible PixElated Adventures Festival Steam page, Brave At Night website, and Brave At Night social media account

  3. The winner of the competition will be contacted by Brave At Night in regards to how they would like to be credited when the artwork is publicly shared by Brave At Night

 

  1. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

 

  1. You agree that any personal information that you provide when entering the competition will be used by Brave At Night for the purposes of administering the competition.

  2. If requested by Brave At Night the winner agrees to release their first name and a social media link (or your preferred way of crediting the artwork to you) to other competition participants and public viewing the PixElated Adventures Festival 2024 and Brave At Night website and social media accounts.

  3. The winner's first name and social media account (or your preferred way of crediting the artwork to you) will be announced on Brave At Nights website and social media channels, as well as the PixElated Adventures Festival page on steam and PixElated Festival Discord Server.

 

  1. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

 

  1. Brave At Night accepts no liability for any damage, loss, injury, or disappointment suffered by entrants as a result of participating in the competition or being selected for a prize.

General

Brave At Night reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to cancel the competition or amend these terms and conditions.
